Homes

Concrete Rose Collective CIC

Concrete Rose is a Community Interest Company with a Christian ethos that looks to provide supported lodgings for vulnerable young people (including unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, care leavers and young parents).  We’re looking for individuals, couples and families who have a spare room, a desire to make a difference and are prepared to open their homes to a young person.  Concrete Rose supports hosts by providing a comprehensive training and induction package, 24/7 on-call support, regular supervision and a small financial remittance.  Young people are given significant wrap-around support including weekly one-to-one sessions with a professional youth worker.

Hope into Action Cambridge

Hope into Action Cambridge partner with 8 churches in Cambridge and surrounding areas. We have 11 homes for vulnerable men, women and families. We are a part of the wider Hope into Action UK network, who currently work with around 74 churches, running 90 homes across the UK. We provide not just shelter and housing know-how but also the love and support of the local church partnering alongside every house we open.

Homes are available for a wide range of “homeless”: people in recovery from addiction, people sleeping rough, women and children fleeing domestic violence, people coming out of rehab, former prostitutes, refugees, those suffering mental health issues and survivors of human trafficking.

Our vision is for every church to lovingly provide the homeless with a home. The tragedy of homelessness is in every community. We believe that with our help, you and your church can do something about it.
